In Pine Court, twin 3-level rectangular blocks are served by 2 sets of staircases, with bridge links to the blocks providing access to the apartments and up to the roof terrace. In all, there are 22 units of studio apartments and 11 units of 1-bedroom apartments. The building is to be located in the fast growing Lekki Peninsula area of Lagos.

The design for this block acknowledges that the building type is unusual for residential projects in Lagos and this is projected in the final architectural form, including the treatment of the roof over the entrance where an aluminium frame structure joins up the opposite slopes of the roofs of the 2 blocks.

The courtyard enclosed by the buildings creates a quiet counterpoint to the hustle and bustle typical of Lagos. It becomes the heart of the scheme, creating a rhythmic sequence of movements up the stairs, across the bridges, beautiful landscaping of the courtyard and the activities on the roof terrace that contains an outdoor spa/hot tub. The apparent ‘dance’ is complemented by the sway of the palms that are located within the courtyard.

All apartments will be tastefully finished and kitchen fully fitted with an Oven, Cooker Hob, Chimney Hood (extractor), Fridge Freezer, Washing Machine/Dryer, piped externally for gas supply with pre-paid gas meter, wardrobes, intercom and wireless internet facility, cabled for DSTV with dish, fully air-conditioned, complete bathroom fittings and mirrors in all bathrooms etc.
